About Our Speaker:
Marzena Buzanowska, MD, MHA, is an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine physician and a Medical Director at River City Sports & Spine Specialists in Columbus, Georgia. She is the founder of Leadership Breakthroughs Academy, a leadership coaching and consulting organization. She is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director of Musculoskeletal Medicine and Interventional Spine Fellowship. Prior to joining River City, Dr. Buzanowska spent four years at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Buzanowska has been a speaker in national meetings and has published articles, abstracts and book chapters on the topics of interventional spine and regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal conditions, as well as healthcare leadership, implicit bias, effective teamwork with diverse groups and conflict management. She is a member of multiple professional societies, where she is active in the sphere of healthcare leadership, legislation and health policy.
