ACHE of Georgia – Clinician Executive Committee
Advancing Clinicians into Confident Executive Leaders
The Clinician Executive Committee of the ACHE of Georgia is dedicated to equipping clinicians with the knowledge, skills, and perspective needed to transition successfully into senior and executive leadership roles. Our committee serves as a bridge between clinical expertise and executive responsibility, helping clinicians lead competently, confidently, and strategically in today’s complex healthcare environment.
Our Purpose
Clinicians bring invaluable frontline insight to healthcare leadership. The transition from clinical practice to executive decision-making requires a distinct set of competencies rarely taught in formal clinical training. This committee exists to close that gap.
We prepare clinicians, including nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, allied health professionals, and physicians, to thrive in leadership roles by developing strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and executive leadership skills.
Who Should Participate
This committee is designed for clinicians at all stages of leadership development, including:
- Clinicians exploring leadership and management opportunities
- Clinicians currently in manager or director roles
- Clinicians already in executive positions seeking continued growth and peer engagement
Participation is open to ACHE members and prospective members who are interested in advancing their leadership journey.
The Clinician Executives Committee hosts several educational programs each year, including in-person programs such as our November 19, 2025, clinician/physician panel discussion at Piedmont Atlanta
What You Will Gain
Through participation in the Clinician Executive Committee, members can expect to:
- Build executive readiness by strengthening financial literacy, strategic thinking, and governance knowledge
- Develop an executive mindset that supports effective decision-making, influence, and organizational leadership
- Prepare for Fellowship (FACHE) through exposure to topics aligned with ACHE’s core competencies
Our programming emphasizes practical, applied learning that clinicians can immediately translate into their professional roles.

The committee offers a structured mix of educational and engagement opportunities throughout the year:
- Virtual educational programs are held three times annually, focusing on core executive competencies
