About Us

The ACHE of Georgia is committed to the development of leadership skills, knowledge exchange, and facilitation of networking opportunities for our members.

We are the most active professional organization of our kind in Georgia and have evolved in response to the changing nature of the healthcare industry. ACHE of Georgia represents a broad range of healthcare executives, professionals, consultants and the faculty and students of healthcare administration programs. We are committed to providing our members timely, relevant educational programs, a forum for professional exchange, and a network for career development.

Founded in 1982 as a professional healthcare administrators group, ACHE of Georgia formalized its affiliation with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) in 1991. In 2003 it was chartered by ACHE as the only chapter affiliate within the state of Georgia.

ACHE of Georgia is the award-winning independent local chapter of ACHE for the state of Georgia. We were recognized as a “Chapter of Merit” for 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2008, and the “Local Chapter of the Year” for 2001.
