Become a Committee Volunteer
ACHE of Georgia committees and sub-committees capture key directional shifts in member needs and translate those needs into action items for potential development. Committee member input and recommendations enables the Board of Directors to establish effective policies, set meaningful budgets, and exceed membership expectations. In addition to networking and leadership development benefits, committee involvement counts toward FACHE credentialing requirements.
What are qualifications and expectations? All committee roles are for a term of one year (January through December). There is no limit to how many years you actively volunteer on a committee. Individuals must be ACHE & ACHE of Georgia member in good standing and demonstrate active participation in role that was accepted. Time commitment and responsibilities vary from committee to committee. The average time expected from a committee member is four to eight hours per month. Each committee will hold at least a one-hour virtual meeting per month. Standard committee terms are for a year, beginning January 1 and ending December 31.
