Our speaker is Fawn C. Hutton, DHA (c), MBA, FACHE, FACMPE, Director of Clinical Programs, Quality, and Learning, Roots Community Health. She will lead a discussion covering:

- Which strategies feel most realistic in your environment?
- What barriers do you face in building psychological safety?
- What prevents psychological safety in your workplace?
Learning Objectives
By the end of this 1.5-hour program, participants will be able to:
- Define psychological safety and explain its impact on team performance, patient
outcomes, and organizational culture. - Identify behaviors, leadership practices, and system-level factors that either
enhance or hinder psychological safety in healthcare teams. - Apply practical strategies to build psychological safety, including communication tools, team norms, and leader behaviors, using interactive discussions, a psychological safety poll, and small-group breakout activities.
