About the Program
Join your Georgia healthcare leadership colleagues in Augusta on March 19 for our in-person lunch-and-learn program, “Navigating Key Legislative Issues Impacting Healthcare.” The program has been approved for 1.5 hours of ACHE In-Person Education credit.
Numerous public policy and legislative issues in healthcare delivery and public health affect healthcare organizations and require their leaders to respond and adjust organizational policies and procedures. These issues often relate to improving population health, access, and coverage through Medicaid and other programs; enhancing value; addressing consumer issues and workforce shortages; and more. Understanding these issues and participating in policy and organizational responses are important for healthcare leaders, regardless of their direct involvement.
This panel examines the key healthcare legislative issues they are currently focusing on.
