Plus, we have an ACHE Choice Speaker leading a morning session with 3 hours of ACHE In-Person credit. We also have an afternoon panel discussion with 1.5 hours of ACHE In-Person Education credit, and our keynote session has 1 hour of Qualifying Education credit. ACHE of Georgia Summit on the Coast Highlights
Summit on the Coast will kick off with introductions and a welcome message from Corwin N. Harper, FACHE, President, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia, and ACHE Governor.
Our keynote session features Joon S. Lee, MD, Chief Executive Officer, Emory Healthcare. This session has 1 hour of ACHE Qualifying credit.
Our ACHE Choice speaker is Mitchell E. Kusy, PhD, professor in the Graduate School of Leadership and Change at Antioch University in Minneapolis. He will be present Toxic Behaviors in Healthcare: How Everyday Civility Increases Patient Safety and Team Performance.
The Choice session has 3.0 Hours of ACHE In-Person Education Credit.
As an ACHE Choice Program, it may be eligible for joint accreditation with other organizations.

“Strategies for Effective Crisis Leadership”
Healthcare leaders need to understand ways to prepare their organization for unforeseen circumstances, which includes developing a communication plan, managing organizational resources, such as medical supplies, levels of patient care and leveraging local and state resources and funding.
This panel discussion will provide insight and perspectives on ways to manage an unforeseen crisis within the healthcare organization and its community. It will include how healthcare leaders can better prepare and respond to a community or healthcare crisis, health surge event, or unanticipated response.
