March 9, 2020
Dear ACHE of Georgia Members and Associates:
After careful consideration of the continuing developments surrounding COVID-19 and in response to the cancellation of the ACHE 2020 Congress on Healthcare Leadership, ACHE of Georgia’s board has decided to cancel our March Luncheon Meeting and Senior Executive Breakfast events. Anyone who has already registered for these ACHE of Georgia events will be given a complete refund of fees paid. More details on upcoming events will be announced soon. Please send any questions to gahe.org@gmail.com.
In canceling the 2020 Congress, ACHE’s Board of Governors stated: “Healthcare organizations are actively managing the response to coronavirus (COVID-19) in their communities. We understand and support our members and other leaders—and the need to respond effectively to patient and community concerns.” Our board agrees.
We will continue to monitor the situation in Georgia and give you regular updates. Please refer to ACHE of Georgia’s website often for the most up-to-date information. Thank you for your support, patience, and cooperation as we all work through this challenging situation.
Sincerely,
Trent Lind
