About the Program
Join us on February 15 at Maggiano’s in Buckhead for our luncheon program, “Inclusive Leadership in Healthcare.”
With the increasing emphasis on comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives targeted toward improving patient access and outcomes, there is a critical need for healthcare leadership to turn their lens internally to make the biggest impact. Even with the best of intentions, many hospitals and health systems are falling short in embodying the very principles and approaches they are promoting for their patients and communities.
In addition, the business implications and imperatives healthcare organizations face concerning diversity, equity, and inclusion are immense. Diverse communities often require different care needs, improved quality, new or modified operational processes and services, and strategic planning for a varied patient demographic. The continuum of care will need to be considered to best meet the needs of these communities. It is incumbent on healthcare organizations and their leaders to both understand and embrace the needs of diverse populations. As such, inclusive leadership will be critical to the organization’s financial and operational success.
During this discussion, our panelists will share strategies on what healthcare executives can do tomorrow, this year, and over the next five years to make real progress toward inclusive leadership.
