Self-awareness is the ability to recognize our own feelings. It is a very important trait not only in personal situations but also extremely important in the workforce. It is important to recognize our feelings, or they can consume our behaviors. Those that are aware of their emotions make better decisions, recognize how others perceive them, and are better at managing their behaviors. They are also better at perceiving the emotions of those around them and developing better relationships in the workplace.

As a leader, it is exceptionally important to know where our talents are in self-awareness so that we can develop our skills. In this Clubhouse event, we will discuss self-awareness in detail. We will talk about how we can assess our self-awareness skills and provide methods by which we can improve and develop our skills. Dr. Cindy Kelly, IO Consultant with Genesis Professional Services will join Graham Fox, FACHE, and Marlene Sidon, FACHE, in our conversation about self-awareness, one of the most important traits in emotional intelligence.

This session will be moderated by Nicole Denham and Marion Spears Karr and all attendees are invited to participate in the program and share their insights and questions. This free session offers 1 hour of ACHE Qualified Credit. The program format provides a more informal format that allows more time for audience interaction and networking.
