After careful consideration of the continuing developments surrounding the latest surge in COVID-19 cases, ACHE of Georgia’s board has decided to cancel our August 19 in-person lunch and learn at Maggiano’s. The session will now be offered as a virtual F2F program via Zoom at noon on August 19. The program topic, discussion, moderator, and panelists remain the same.

Medical errors are the third leading cause of death in the United States, with 220,000 to 440,000 people dying each year from preventable errors according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
